VÍDEO: Família tem casa destruída por incêndio e precisa de ajuda para reconstrução em Cerejeiras

On the night of Wednesday (23), Karina das Neves Fusgueris and her husband Keliton Moreira Rodrigues from the municipality of Cerejeiras faced one of their toughest moments.

A devastating fire struck their home, destroying much of the structure along with their furniture, clothing, and personal belongings—everything they had worked hard to acquire over the years was lost in an instant.

The fire department was called to the scene to extinguish the flames, and the incident was documented by the police.

Fortunately, no one was injured; however, the material losses were severe. Despite Karina’s physical disability, both she and her husband are safe, but they require assistance to start over, as the costs to recover what was lost are beyond their means.

Friends and family are organizing a fundraising campaign for Karina and Keliton.

Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference during this challenging time. They are in need of construction materials such as bricks, sand, cement, roofing tiles, and electrical supplies including wiring, conduits, and outlets. A double bed is also needed, as the fire destroyed their previous one.
