On Tuesday (29), Cícero Noronha, vice-president of FACER (Federation of Commercial and Industrial Associations of Rondônia), and Marcos Cesar Kobayashi, Secretary General of CACB (Confederation of Commercial and Entrepreneurial Associations of Brazil), along with representatives from Rondônia’s productive sector, held a meeting with Senator Marcos Rogério, president of the Senate’s Infrastructure Commission.
The agenda included discussions on vital topics such as the recovery of BR-425, the concession for BR-364, the Binational Bridge, and the Boi Highway Project. The meeting took place at the CACB headquarters in Brasília (DF), and was also attended by Carlos Resende, Superintendent of the Confederation; Karla Cinara Carmo, Government Relations Manager of CACB; Darci Cerutti, President of Sebrae Rondônia; and Sebrae RO councilors Everton Melo da Rosa and Éder Bastos.
Cícero Noronha, representing FACER president Kelly Naahamara, emphasized, “In addition to infrastructure matters, we also addressed a complementary issue regarding Fiscal Policy, urging the senator to discuss with Governor Tarcísio the maintenance of the 7% fiscal benefit on sales from São Paulo to the Guajará-Mirim Free Trade Area.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, Senator Marcos Rogério expressed gratitude for the invitation extended by FACER in collaboration with CACB and affirmed his willingness to continue discussions on the proposed topics.
