The president of the Brazilian Bar Association – Rondônia Section (OAB RO), Márcio Nogueira, attended a public hearing organized by the Court of Justice of Rondônia (TJRO) focused on collaboratively developing the National Judiciary Goals for 2026. The event took place on Thursday (July 24) at the Cultural Center for Historical Documentation and Judiciary Memory in Porto Velho, gathering representatives from various institutions and civil society.
During the hearing, Márcio Nogueira emphasized the significance of legal professionals’ participation in the goal-setting process for the Judiciary, underscoring OAB Rondônia’s commitment to creating a more accessible, democratic, and responsive justice system.
“Building a faster, more transparent, and humane justice system requires listening. That is precisely what we experienced at this meeting, a diverse space where the commitment to the future of Justice strengthened through dialogue among institutions. I conveyed the voice of the Rondônia legal community, reaffirming our essential role in constructing a justice system that is in tune with society,” stated the president.
This public hearing aligns with the guidelines of the National Justice Council (CNJ) and reaffirms TJRO’s dedication to democratic and collaborative governance. In addition to public feedback on the preliminary proposals for 10 National Goals, attendees also enjoyed guided tours of thematic exhibitions at the Judiciary Cultural Center.

“We continue to work towards a justice with soul and a legal profession with a voice,” he concluded.
