The Roraima Civil Police (PCRR), through the 1st Police District (DP), in concert with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DRE), the Intelligence Department (DEINT) of the Public Safety Secretariat (Sesp), and the Federal Highway Police (PRF), executed a preventive arrest warrant for the fugitive P. W. A N., who had been at large since the initiation of Operation Financial Plague on April 7th.

According to Inspector Jéssica Muniz of the 1st DP, who is leading the investigation, the suspect was located in Pimenta Bueno, Rondônia, during a PRF check on a passenger transit bus. Upon identifying him as the target of the operation, the federal highway officers promptly executed the arrest warrant.

Inspector Jéssica Muniz noted that this arrest marks a significant development in a case investigating multiple fraud offenses linked to P. W., with estimated losses exceeding R$ 3 million for local producers, business owners, and various sectors of the economy.

“The Roraima Civil Police is already in discussions to arrange for the suspect’s return to our state, where he will be held at the disposal of the Judiciary to continue and conclude the investigation,” stated the inspector.
