The Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seccional Rondônia (OAB RO), represented by the Commission for Combating Domestic and Family Violence against Women, participated in the Postgraduate Course on Public Policies and Protection of Vulnerable Groups at the Public Ministry. The event was organized by the Escola Superior do Ministério Público (ESMPU), featuring the Commission’s president, Rosimar Francelino, as a guest speaker.
Invited by Justice Promoter Alba da Silva Lima, who teaches Public Policies in the course, Rosimar Francelino delivered a lecture titled “Oversight of Public Policy by Audit Courts.” The lecture aimed to highlight external oversight mechanisms for public policies, with an emphasis on those protecting vulnerable groups.
According to Rosimar Francelino, collaboration between the Public Ministry, external oversight, and the legal profession is crucial for strengthening public policies and ensuring the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at safeguarding fundamental rights.
