During a session on Tuesday (01), State Deputy Cirone Deiró (União Brasil) highlighted the delays in the retirement process for state public servants, particularly those in the Education sector. He pointed out that the current requirement for excessive documentation is hindering and prolonging the retirement of employees who have already fulfilled the necessary service time mandated by law. “When the time comes for a professional to retire, they must gather attendance records, declarations, and a host of other documents that should be part of their established paperwork, complicating the entire process,” he explained.
The deputy stressed the need for the Institute of Public Servant Pension of the State of Rondônia (Iperon) and other government departments, such as the State Department of Education (Seduc), to address this issue. “I want to draw attention to our human resources management sectors regarding this problem, as while employees from other departments retire in about 30 days, those from the state network often face waits of two to three years,” he stated.
Cirone proposed the implementation of a standard protocol to simplify and expedite the retirement process. He noted that by the time a professional reaches retirement age, they have already dedicated enough service and are merely seeking a right that is rightfully theirs. “We are available here in the Legislative Assembly to assist in any efforts needed to change this situation,” Cirone asserted.
