On July 24 (Thursday), the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Rondônia will host an in-person Public Hearing aimed at collaboratively shaping the proposed National Judiciary Goals for 2026.
This event, which is open to the public, will take place from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Centro Cultural de Documentação Histórica e Memória do Judiciário de Rondônia (CCDHM), located at Av. Rogério Weber, nº 2396, Caiari neighborhood, in front of Praça das Três Caixas d’Água, Porto Velho.
In addition to the Public Hearing, guided tours of the thematic exhibitions available at the Judiciary Cultural Center of Rondônia will commence at 6 PM.
This hearing reflects TJRO’s commitment to democratic, collaborative, and transparent governance, aligned with the guidelines of the National Justice Council (CNJ) and the values of Rondônia’s Judiciary, emphasizing public participation as a crucial step in defining national judicial goals.
Citizen Participation
The event is open to all citizens, including legal professionals and representatives from institutions who wish to contribute.
Contributions should focus on proposals and comments regarding the preliminary 10 National Goals, which include: adjudicating more cases than those distributed; prioritizing older cases; promoting conciliation; focusing on cases of public administration crimes, administrative misconduct, and electoral offenses; reducing congestion rates; prioritizing environmental cases; addressing cases related to Indigenous and quilombola populations; focusing on cases of femicide and domestic violence against women; encouraging innovation in the Judiciary, and safeguarding children’s and adolescents’ rights.
