This past Friday (May 9th) was filled with tributes, care, and moments of celebration during the Mother’s Day event for the Advocacy community held at the headquarters of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seccional Rondônia (OAB RO) in Porto Velho. Organized by the Caixa de Assistência dos Advogados de Rondônia (CAARO), the event was part of the well-known Sexta do Cuidado initiative.
The diverse program included professional photography services, eyebrow design, makeup, express massages, and psychological support. Attendees enjoyed giveaways, received souvenirs, and participated in a happy hour featuring beer, music, and dancing, all in a specially prepared warm atmosphere to honor the mothers of the advocacy community.

The event also featured a designated area for children, the Espaço Kids, along with an Exhibition of Entrepreneurial Women in Law, celebrating those who blend legal profession with entrepreneurship.
The president of CAARO, Aline Silva, emphasized the significance of this initiative.
“Celebrating Mother’s Day with affection and support is also a way to acknowledge the strength of women who dedicate themselves to advocacy, even amidst the challenges of motherhood. This event exemplifies CAARO’s commitment to care and gratitude for these remarkable professionals,” she noted.
For attorney Ronsângela Lazaro, a mother of two, the event was a moment of appreciation and kindness.
“We get so busy in our daily lives that we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. Today, I made time to enjoy these wonderful services. CAARO deserves congratulations for this initiative.”
The OAB Rondônia and CAARO reinforce their commitment to the well-being of the advocacy community, particularly for women balancing the challenges of both motherhood and their careers.
