Unidade móvel de coleta de sangue da Fhemeron é apresentada no interior de Rondônia | Tudo Rondônia

Healthcare professionals and technical teams from Fhemeron participate in the presentation phase.

The mobile blood collection unit from the Rondônia Hematology and Hemotherapy Foundation (Fhemeron) began its journey across the state’s interior on April 9. This week, it was showcased in the municipalities of Rolim de Moura, Seringueiras, and Vilhena. This route is part of the demonstration and technical adjustment phase of the vehicle, which includes training for teams to ensure that, soon, the unit will become operational to serve the community. This initiative, coordinated by Fhemeron, aims to decentralize collection services, bringing them closer to more remote communities and addressing the growing transfusion demand within the state’s healthcare network.

Equipped with modern facilities, the bus features four collection chairs, medical and nursing consultation rooms, triage and pre-triage areas, a lounge, and equipment for the proper preservation of blood bags.

According to Rondônia Governor Marcos Rocha, “this vehicle symbolizes the government’s commitment to health and the well-being of our population. We are bringing an essential service closer to the people of Rondônia, with dignity and efficiency, as we know how vital blood donation is for saving lives,” he emphasized.

While still in preparation, the unit bolsters the state’s policy to strengthen public health. “We are testing all the equipment and training our teams to ensure that when the unit becomes operational, it will function safely and efficiently. This is a significant step forward in our strategy to decentralize blood collection,” explained Fhemeron President Reginaldo Girelli.

IMPLEMENTATION

The Foundation points out that Rondônia faces a rising demand for transfusions, and the mobile unit will enhance the healthcare system’s responsiveness. It is anticipated that after the necessary adjustments, the vehicle will commence regular collections in interior municipalities.

During the presentation phase, healthcare professionals, Fhemeron’s technical teams, representatives from municipal secretariats, and local partners are participating in the tests and operational procedures. The definitive schedule of services will be announced soon through the official channels of the Rondônia Hematology and Hemotherapy Foundation.
